Worship Team

At Gateway we use a mixture of older and newer songs with which to praise and worship God. Sometimes we lead with keyboard and a fuller team of musos/singers and on other Sundays we use a simpler approach featuring guitar and voices. Our music is a mixture of up tempo, enthusiastic songs blended with quieter, more sensitive pieces.

We like to be really relaxed during worship, allowing people to leave behind the things of the world and focus upon Jesus, getting into the ‘God zone’ as our pastor likes to call it.

Our overall focus in worship is upon genuine participation rather than technical excellence and developing our relationship with God rather than putting on a show or a performance.

Gateway is home to non-english speaking churches Agape (Korean) and Nepali Fellowship. We enjoy combined services with each church leading worship and preaching.
